The John Deere Hydraflex grain head is one of the best grain heads you can use. Utilizing the Hydraflex system, these JD grain heads float easily close to the ground, getting the closest cut. After shaving the beans off at the grain, the John Deere grain head quickly moves the material into the combine with the Full Finger Auger. This JD combine head has a very good auger and floor. The Hydraulic Fore and Aft reel allows you to easily adjust on the fly. The Active Header Height Control (AHHC) keeps the head floating close to the ground, and the ContourMaster sensors keep the head smooth when the ground gets uneven.
